Modules

The Modules section provides an overview of all modules contained in the project or assigned to the project member. Here, modules can be quickly searched, new modules created, and existing ones opened or edited.

Modules are units that facilitate the configuration of apps. Modules contain configuration details from the app configurator and can be used in various apps. They allow configurations to be saved and reused, increasing efficiency in app creation. Modules can also be used by other project members, promoting collaboration.

Search Function

In the search bar above the list of modules, the displayed content can be filtered by module name. Clicking on Static (to the right of the search bar) executes the search with the specified criteria.

Create Module

To create a new module, click on the plus icon at the right end of the module management header. The table below shows which fields can be filled out. The logged-in user is automatically assigned to the module and thus receives all editing rights.

Module List: Edit and Open Modules

The modules (either all modules available in the project, assigned to the project member, or the result of the search) are displayed in a list that contains the following information:

  • Name of the module

  • Creation date

  • Update date

  • Module ID

The module page can be opened by clicking on the module name. This will display the module detail page with information about the module and the available actions.

The list can be sorted by the column headers. Clicking next to the header Static sorts the list in ascending order, and another click Static sorts it in descending order.

The display elements at the bottom of the page allow navigation through the list of modules if there are more modules than can be displayed on one page. Clicking on the page number or the arrows allows you to go to the next page or the previous page.
