VC Publisher
General Information
The VC Publisher is the authoring and publishing tool from Virtual City Systems for converting and preparing 3D city models and heterogeneous 2D/3D geodata for publication as VC Map.
Its simple and intuitive web interface allows complex and heterogeneous geodata (e.g. terrain models, orthophotos, oblique aerial images, panoramic images, raster and vector data, point clouds, 3D mesh models and CityGML data) to be prepared for web-based 2D/3D visualisation in just a few steps. In the App Configurator, an interactive web application, data can be compiled using VC Map and subsequently published on the intranet or internet for various target groups. VC Publisher stands out for its efficient creation of high-performance visualisation datasets.
VC Publisher is the central link between data management, conversion, and the provision of web-based map applications and visualisations. All functions can also be used in automated workflows via an OpenAPI-compliant REST interface.
