VC Academy

The VC Academy is your structured guide for learning how to use the software components of the VC Suite step by step. Here, you will focus on mastering the VC Publisher and the App Configurator through practical and modular lectures.

You are about to build a virtual experience, shape your own city, and work with the powerful systems that bring it all together.

The VC Publisher allows you to master how to upload, convert, and organize your city’s spatial data as the starting point for building a Digital Twin.

In this section, you will find several lectures guiding you through processing different types of data such as 3D models, terrain layers, imagery, and more. You will also learn how to export a fully functional map application that includes your created maps and processed datasets.

The workflow is designed to be flexible. There is no fixed order for data processing, you can begin with any dataset that aligns with your project goals.

The App Configurator allows you to learn how to design, configure, customize, and bring your map applications to life.

We recommend starting with the Create App & Module lecture. From there, you can include your 2D, 3D, or oblique maps and connect the relevant datasets.

Once your configuration is complete, you can go back to the VC Publisher and export your final app, combining both your map settings and selected data.
