Adding Oblique Images

Add Oblique Images to Your Map

In this lecture, you’ll learn how to add oblique aerial imagery to your VC Map application giving users multi-directional perspectives of the cityscape.

Oblique imagery complements 2D and 3D maps by providing realistic views from four directions: north, east, south, and west. It’s especially useful for urban planning, facade evaluation, or visual storytelling.

What You Will Learn

  • How to add an Oblique Map to your application

  • How to upload oblique image collections

  • How to navigate between views using the navigation arrows

  • How to save and preview your result

The Oblique Map is the third type of map in VC Map, alongside 2D and 3D maps. It must be added separately to support directional imagery.
