Content

This section configures the content entries. They determine which layers, oblique images and viewpoints are displayed in the VC Map icon content content for user interaction. For layers and oblique imagery collections, only those elements that have a content entry can be activated or deactivated by the user. The Content section is thus the control center that determines which elements can be interacted with in the VC Map.

The structure of the content tree can be influenced by grouping or combining several entries. In addition to the standard Contents window, additional separate windows can be created for subsets of specific (subject) contents.

Clicking on icon addElement opens the selection menu to create a new content entry. The menu lists the available entry types: Entries for single content, for groups, for defining separate windows. When selected, the corresponding editor opens.

By default, when adding new layers, oblique imagery collections and viewpoints, a corresponding content entry is automatically created. The element is referenced by its name (ID). Therefore, it should be assured that the reference in the content editor is updated, as soon as the layer name has been changed!
There is an additional icon playlistEdit Interactive editor for content available. Using drag & drop, you can change the order of individual entries and move them into created group entries. This facilitates especially the grouping of entries, which otherwise have to be subordinated to the respective group nodes by systematic use of a dot notation.
The general actions for editing components are explained here.
