JSON Configuration

The AdV plugin allows advanced settings to be configured using a JSON configuration. The following example shows the basic structure of a corresponding JSON file.

The settings for the AdV plugin’s import and export commands are defined in two separate configuration sections. These sections can be stored individually or together with the configuration sections of other vcdb-tool commands in a single JSON file. The configuration file is passed to vcdb-tool using the --config-file option.

The configuration sections are described in detail in the following chapters.

Configuration section Description

"advImportOptions"

Defines options for controlling the import process.

"advExportOptions"

Defines options for controlling the export process.
